Grant Updates
U3A Ringwood has received the following grants. These grants are important to our aim to keep membership fees low and for providing services to our community, our members and our tutors.
U3A Ringwood Inc gratefully acknowledges the ongoing support of Maroondah City Council’s Community Grants Funding Program. Their 2024/25 Community grant of $500 will largely cover our printing costs plus a sound bar in Classroom 2 at Parkwood Community Hub.
U3A Ringwood Inc gratefully acknowledges the ongoing support of Michael Sukkar MP (Federal Member for Deakin) for our application in the federal Government 2023/24 Volunteers Grant program. The grant we received of $1500 will provide new chairs with arms in Classroom 1 at Parkwood Community Hub. The new chairs replace those without arms that were difficult to rise from for members with mobility issues.
